Technical SEO audit & fixes

If important pages are missing from Google or search traffic has fallen, a technical SEO audit helps find the cause. You get a prioritised list of issues with example URLs. We can make the fixes or prepare tasks for your developers.

FAQ

Technical SEO audit FAQ.

What an audit gives you and where to start when something breaks.

What do we get at the end of a technical SEO audit?

You get a list of issues, each with example URLs, a priority and a clear task for a developer. The audit is a one-off project. If you want us to make the fixes too, we agree that separately for the parts you choose, such as indexing, duplicate pages or internal links.

Why aren’t my pages showing up in Google?

There are several possible reasons. The page can’t be reached, it’s blocked, it duplicates another page, or Google doesn’t think it adds enough. We check the statuses in Search Console and the pages themselves, then plan the fixes. We remove the causes and keep watching, but nobody can guarantee that a particular page gets indexed.

Our organic traffic dropped. Where do you start?

With the cause. We check for technical problems, changes to the content, seasonality and changes in search itself before recommending anything. We don’t assume it was a search update until the simpler explanations are ruled out. You get the findings and a recovery plan.
