Website speed optimisation

Find what slows important pages or makes them difficult to use. We review loading, responsiveness and visual stability, agree a fix within the starting scope and compare the result. This is focused performance work, separate from a full SEO audit.

FAQ

Website speed questions.

What the review covers, how measurements differ and which changes we can agree.

How does this differ from a technical SEO audit?

This project focuses on loading and usability, with the template review and fix shown in the starting scope. It is the same speed offer listed under technical SEO, not an additional charge for that work. A broader audit also examines issues such as crawling, indexing and duplicate pages.

Why do lab tests and visitor measurements differ?

Lab tests run under controlled conditions and help diagnose problems. Field data describes actual visits across different devices and networks, where enough data is available. Core Web Vitals cover loading, responsiveness and visual stability. We explain which measurements the review uses rather than treating one test score as every visitor’s experience.

Can every performance problem be fixed on any platform?

The changes available depend on the platform, hosting, source access and external scripts. We inspect those constraints before agreeing the fix. Some findings may need action from your hosting provider or another supplier. We describe those dependencies and price additional work separately instead of promising that every issue will disappear.

How do you check the fix?

We compare the agreed measurements before and after the change under comparable test conditions, and check the affected page behaviour. Visitor data, when available, takes time to reflect new visits. The handover explains what changed and any remaining limits; a perfect score, ranking increase or conversion lift is not guaranteed.
